## Purpose of the License

EFVD offers limited License positions after reviewing performance, conduct, preparation and event fit. An offer is not a confirmed License. The driver accepts the full three-event commitment and pays $40 CAD to confirm the place. A License cannot be bought without EFVD's offer.

### Not automatic

A license is not granted just for joining or entering one event.

### Full driver profile

Staff considers driving, reliability, preparation, conduct and contribution.

### Status can change

Licenses can be reviewed as driver activity and behavior change.

LP-02

## Driver Pathway

Drivers apply once to join EFVD. Accepted drivers can request individual Wild Card events, while Event Ops may invite selected drivers to a limited Licensed Driver position. The driver reviews all three dates and conditions, accepts the three-event commitment, then pays $40 CAD to confirm the License and place. Declining the offer carries no penalty and keeps Wild Card eligibility.

- 01 Join EFVD Apply once through #driver-application. Event Ops accepts or rejects admission.
- 02 Compete Accepted drivers can request individual Wild Card events at $15 CAD per selected event.
- 03 Review and offer Staff reviews driving, preparation, conduct, reliability and fit, then sends selected drivers a private offer.
- 04 Accept and confirm Accept the three-event commitment, then pay $40 CAD by the deadline to confirm the License and place. If you decline or do not pay, you can still request individual events as a Wild Card.

## Status Benefits and Restrictions

Licensed status helps EFVD identify drivers who consistently meet competition, preparation, reliability and conduct standards.

Status area

What it can affect

Priority registration

Licensed Drivers get first access to each round, a week before Wild Card entry opens, and confirm their attendance in My EFVD any time before entry closes. Your place is held until then.

License pass

$40 CAD covers registration for all three events in the championship, including transaction fees. The pass activates an awarded place; it does not buy a license.

Driver identity

License status can support number use, broadcast identification and driver presentation.

Championship eligibility

Licensed status is required for championship standings and championship payouts.

Event trust

Staff can rely on licensed drivers to arrive prepared, follow procedure and represent the series properly.

Restrictions

A license does not override technical rules, conduct rules, event deadlines or staff direction.

Competition results

Payment does not guarantee attendance credit, championship points, qualification, bracket advancement or a result.

Withdrawals and missed events

The full $40 CAD pass is refundable until the Round 1 cars and track are released together. After that you can still withdraw in My EFVD without a refund; it frees your place for another driver and is not treated as a no-show. No-shows are not refundable. Missing one event does not create a partial pass refund. See the Refund and Withdrawal Guide for event changes and other terms.

## License Eligibility

EFVD reviews the complete candidate pool and the evidence available for each driver. Previous EFVD participation helps but is not required; strong applicants may also come from other competitions or be new to EFVD.

Eligibility area

Expected standard

Competition ability

Controlled qualifying runs, safe tandem driving and clean decision-making.

Preparation

Correct files, approved car, required content and event schedule awareness.

Reliability

Arrives on time, responds when needed and communicates conflicts early.

Conduct

Handles wins, losses, judging calls and public communication properly.

LP-05

## License Evaluation Scorecard

The scorecard keeps license reviews focused on the full driver profile: driving quality, event execution, technical compliance, conduct and consistency.

Evaluation area

What staff looks for

Driving quality

Line, angle, proximity, chase discipline and decision-making.

Event execution

Briefing attendance, staging readiness and ability to follow live procedure.

Technical compliance

Clean submissions, correct physics and cooperation with tech review.

Conduct

Sportsmanship, respectful communication and no avoidable public drama.

Consistency

The same standard across multiple events, not one isolated performance.

LP-06

## Promotion Process

Event Ops selects License candidates from accepted EFVD drivers. Staff considers the original application, EFVD history when available, preparation, driving quality, reliability, technical readiness and conduct. EFVD may send an offer later, before the three-event championship begins.

- 01 Get accepted Join EFVD through the standard driver application.
- 02 Staff review EFVD compares the accepted driver’s application with available event, tech and conduct history.
- 03 Decision Event Ops may send a private License offer. Without one, you remain eligible to request Wild Card events.
- 04 Respond Accept the three-event commitment and pay to confirm the License, or decline and remain eligible for individual events.

## Number Reservation Policy

Driver numbers support broadcast clarity and driver identity, but number use still depends on EFVD rules and availability. Licensed drivers may have priority when numbers are assigned or reserved.

### Numbers must be open

A preferred number may not be available if already assigned or reserved.

### Numbers must be visible

Car liveries should make driver identification clear in stream, replay and screenshots.

### Numbers can change

EFVD may adjust number use for event organization or future season structure.

LP-08

## Activity and Inactive Status

Licensed drivers are expected to stay connected to EFVD activity enough for staff to understand their current readiness and keep their status active.

Activity status

Meaning

Active

Recent participation, communication or availability is clear.

Inactive

A driver has been away long enough that readiness may need review.

Returning

A returning driver may need updated tech, rules review or event notes before competing.

LP-09

## Probation and Removal

Licensed status can be limited, reviewed or removed when a driver no longer meets EFVD standards. These outcomes document how status may change after conduct, activity, technical or procedure issues.

Reason

Possible outcome

Repeated no-shows

Reduced event priority or license review.

Conduct issue

Probation, restrictions, suspension or removal.

Technical issue

Corrections required before future events.

Procedure issue

Staff may require review before the next entry.

LP-10

## Wild Card Review

Wild Card events give non-licensed drivers reviewable event history. Strong performances, clean preparation and proper conduct can support future selection, license review, championship eligibility and priority registration.

### Drive clean battles

Staff looks at control, tandem awareness and ability to complete competitive runs.

### Handle the event properly

Briefing, staging, communication and conduct all matter.

### Build a case

One event can help, but license review usually needs a reliable pattern.

LP-11

## Recognition and Broadcast Use

License status helps viewers, drivers and partners understand which drivers have reviewed status in EFVD competition.

### Clear identity

Licensed drivers may be easier to identify in overlays, commentary and event content.

### Driver story

Recognition can support highlights, results graphics and season coverage.

### Structured field

A visible driver structure makes events easier to present publicly.

LP-12

## License Agreement Text

Holding a license means accepting EFVD competition standards every time you enter an event. Licensed status does not override event rules, technical rules or staff direction.

### Follow current guides

Licensed drivers must still follow competition, technical and conduct rules.

### Stay current

Drivers are responsible for reading event-specific updates on Discord.

### Status is conditional

EFVD may review license status based on activity, conduct or event requirements.

LP-13

## Policy Changes

EFVD announces material changes through its official Discord before the affected registration opens.
